Mass Movement
1. Who is the author of your article?
Steve Gehrke

3. Which type of mass movement is described in your article?
Rockfall
4. Who was affected by this movement?
Dixie National Forest in Iron County east of Cedar City
5. How did the mass movement affect them?
Block the road and cause many accidents
6. Include one photo of your mass movement type (for example, ANY picture of a rockfall, landslide, mudflow, etc.)
7. What are three things that you learned?
I learned that it becomes a big mess when a rock slide happens, sometimes a rockslide can cause accidents, and sometimes Avalanche Control has to get involved.
8. What are two things that you found interesting?
The fact that no vehicles were present on the hill at the time of the rockslide, and the trucks now have to have wear a chain.
9. What is one question that you still have?
I have none..

a 5 year old boy and his sister
5. How did the mass movement affect them?
5 year old boy ankle got twisted and the sister back and hip is hurt.
6. Include one photo of your mass movement type (for example, ANY picture of a rockfall, landslide, mudflow, etc.)
7. What are three things that you learned?
I learned that not even a jacks can even lift a boulder like that
I learned being on rocks can be dangerous.
I learned that you never know what going to happen so be carefully when you are doing stuff like that.

4 Earth Sciences
The four main Earth Sciences is
1. Astronomy
2. Oceanography
3. Meterology
4. Geology
My all time favorite Earth Science is Astronomy because of the fact that it deals with the galaxies and the stars. I like to look at the stars and all that other stuff.

My Favorite Map
My favorite map is the Topographic Map. I like because it is easier to draw and you get the idea faster than you get with any other map. Another reason is because of how it shows elevation on the map. I can see where there are mountains and just plateaus.
